Looks like a gusty 10-15mph for Sunday, so unless the gusts are really bad, it could be flyable. Both my fields get really turbulent when it's gusting...

So after 2 weeks I heard back from Noll. He said that the 59 slick MB kits are 2 and a half months away. If you see anything up for sale, please let me know ASAP!

...or I could just call it "build weather" and start working on the 51" Slick I picked up in Toledo...

Also here is what I use for weather.. It's pretty nice and accurate. 300-310 is right down the runway.

Friday is looking pretty windy at 16mph...

Yeah, I'm not going to be able to make that. That field is about 1 hour 40 mins away. I don't think too many people are that close to that field.

I think if we are all going to meet, it should be at a place in the middle of all of us. That seems to be GCA.

yep, after looking at our weather report for the weekend, I decided to stay home and work on my LamYak and my 71" Slick build.

we also decided to postpone our "field spring cleanup" since the field will be a mudpit after an entire week of rain.

Looks like the best time to fly in your area on Saturday (based on wind speed) is between 8pm and 5am ;)

US Air Net is a pretty cool web site...but the outlook for our area is still very grim for this weekend:
