HEY!..GET OUTTA MY TREE!
Foam bird cage (it's a Raven remember!). All glued up and rough sanded. Weighs 6 oz as seen standing on the deck. Forward and aft ply bulkheads not glued on yet. I need to get the mounting tabs located and mounted in the ply base, then this will all be glued together. Don't think I'll get much more done until later next week though.

It's surprisingly string which will get even better when sheeted and glassed. Anyway...a couple of pics.

Looks Good. Great idea with the foam. Bob Godfrey used foam wing ribs for his planes like this Extra 260.

If I didn't know any better, I would swear you've been influenced by someone we know but haven't heard from in a while. He has been known to have some really interesting concepts, including 101 uses for gorilla glue!

This one is great! Nice job!!

That looks great, but ya arrrrr going to swiss cheese the "formers" right? Bout to start the same process on my project, as I'm 99% decided it's going to become a "special" vs. 300. Anyway, back to regularly scheduled programming....

I still want to do an sc, but the current project is a refurb of an already built pro. Once that's done and I have something flying I'll look at what's next.
Dremeling foam...ugh, you need to get yourself one of these: hot-knife
