Joe what fuel line do you use, and how often do you replace it?
Do you use a weighted pickup in the tank or a filtered one?
What gas are you using, or another way to ask are you concerned about gas with alcohol?

I was in my "office" doing some thinking a while ago. I wondered if anyone "rotates" servos, since it seems like the tail servos take quite a bit more beating than the ailerons do. This would make the gear teeth wear faster, and overall strain on them. I did it when I put them...

Joe, I was flying with my dear friend AeroHeadTW yesterday and he's usually flying his 48" Edge on 3s. Yesterday he tried some of my 4s 2200mAh in it and it obviously made a big difference for the high energy stuff. What he also noticed, which is a bit more interesting, is that he felt the harrier was more...

When I got into this wonderful hobby, I found a used old school DX7 on Wattflyer that I've been using since then. Not that I have a lot to compare it to, but it's been working great for me. However, I starting to think I should upgrade to something a bit more advanced. The question is whether the DX8 has enough...

This looks like the one I've been waiting for. Price is supposed to be around $599...it uses all the current protocols, has some improvements over the 8FG, and of course...telemetry. Seems like its "just right," and a solid winner. It just so happens I'm currently looking to upgrade, so perfect timing! :bouncy:...

Joe, can you help me out on how to get those nice smooth harrier landings? Unfortunately, there is no 3 mistakes high to practice...

Thanks in advance!

Definitive evidence that I suck. I went out for a little lunchtime huckin' today and put my cellphone on a bench and recorded some of it for fun. It's kind of humbling to watch (at least if you're me). I'm way, WAY too rough on the control and I'm constantly wrestling the plane. See for yourselves:...
