I had a GP-123 on an aztech aero EG 108" slick. Had INSANE power. These were the first V1. the first grenaded on the 3rd flight, the replacement did it 2 months later.

The v2 supposedly fixed that issue.

The GP 123 has insane power but I'm going da 120/or DLE 120 for myself.

Saw them flying this at Nall and was major impressed with the looks and flight. Of course you have to watch closely with Joe flying it to spot the flight characteristics that apply to us mere mortals. I've not had a 3DHS plane for quite some time myself. Can't wait to see the first ARF's start to come together.

You bet! Joe could make an ugly stick look good! I am usually not that "extra guy" but I love the looks and all evidence I see points to it being an awesome airplane.

BTW how is the DLE 120 doing for you terry?

I got a chance to fly the big 120" 3DHS extra this past weekend with a DA-170.. DIZAM son... that was a plane! I'm sure this new 120cc is gonna rock as well!

Got to see Ben and hang for a bit, he sure is a busy guy.. LOTS of planes... LOTS!

I've got two of them, both pretty fresh yet. One with about 30'ish flights on it and one with 13 flights, both running 29x9. Don't expect to be super impressed on the first 5 or so flights....both of mine kicked in the power at about 10-12 flights and I expect to get much better after several gallons (running Redline 40:1, no break in dino junk). Even on my 28.5lb 42% Hyperlite it has amazing power. Both running stock carbs, and stock rings.

They are having some QC issues with the stock mufflers though, so check all the welds and joints for leaky areas and seal with JB-weld or high-temp silicone while they are still new and clean.

Chad, do you know if there is a location for a single rudder servo in the tail? Been looking at pics and it looks like all the test planes were set up with pull-pull. If not, mine will be modified..... Placed my pre-order last night.

Sweet man! Congrats! I am not sure. I plan to use pull pull. I will ask joe smith and see what he says. He has flown the proto since last winter.
