Well got the cowl is on and it clears the exhaust and the tuning tubes on the other side so that is all good. Getting the tubes to line with cowl took a lot of measuring and the cowl went on and off numerous times but it now lines up and the carburetor can be adjusted with the cowl left on. Got the air ducting done for the engine. So that cleans up that part, except have to find away to get to the chock.

Have to say except for the canister difficulties the plane has been up to now a pleasure ro build. This is my first 30cc size plane and I must say nice size to build big enough to get your hands In, and enough space to install everything up to now. It's also nice size to move the fuselage around and turn upside down with out wiping out half the workshop. The only thing that is a not good is the paint on the cowl it beautiful smooth and shines good but just touch it and it chips any hole you make or hole cut out the paint is all chipped around it that is a nuisance.

@Jetpainter must say I love those little flat plates that hold the servos down they make a tremendous difference. Which I had bought 50 of them but at the price they want for them it is expensive. I believe a payed about 5 bucks for 4. I will be looking out for some more but a reasonable price.

Looks like your well on your way to a really nice 30cc airframe:attaboy:. For those cowl cutouts that chip around the edges (most paint jobs do) I found the best way for me (not that it is the best way) is to mask off the area you will be cutting out. Use a dremel cut off wheel to cut out the area inside the masking tape. Then use a dremel drum sander to shape the opening to your liking. Hand finish sanding the edges with 120 grit to present even and straight edges. Finally apply a strip of Formost Products U-Trim to prevent further chipping of the paint at the edges.
