You've truly earned the name "SnowDog" this year…Sub-zeroDog, IceDog, BlizzardDog, GaleDog...

ha ha thanks! feels like it for sure.

You guys sure haven't been immune to the winter weather yourselves!

Here in "the land northwest of Hoth", we just got 4 more inches of snow overnight...making the morning commute a nightmare :|

I guess it's not over yet. :(

It's snowing here in the Shire again. We have one day on Saturday forecast in the 40s. After that back to winter though. We are still 15 degrees below average.

Oh man... Makes me appreciative for Oregon even though we have lots of rain during the winter/spring it's still soooooooo much better than the snow! Our summer/fall seasons are amazing!

I have to keep looking at my avatar to remind me that eventually things will turn green around here. :)

This sure has been a discouraging winter. :grumpy: I burned a new 50cc planes worth of propane above normal in the last 2 months. I also had to have my driveway plowed over a dozen times (drifting). Normally there is only a couple times a year i cant get through. I know one thing, when snow is off the yard it is go time! last year I could shovel the "low" area of the lawn and fly. There is a good 18" where it is normally under 6". Piles from the plow are an easy 6 foot tall and I kid you not up to 1/4 mile long! On the bright side, the snowmobile got a ton of use. I even rode it into town for groceries once. Kinda weird riding the sled smack through down town.

Do you live near the North Pole?!? Michigan must have really got hit this year

The deal with the Polar Vortex is that the vortex looses strength and all that cold polar air sags down in the US. It might actually be warmer at the North Pole than the UP in Michigan.

There are many things I hate about California, weather is not one of them, this is the first week in the last 12 months that I have not been out fly at least 2 days out of the week due to weather
