Got a little tuning in. Need to do a little more. Engine runs pretty good!

I hope sooner than later. Weather has been terrible for flying unfortunately. Extended forecast is no better. It’s going to be a waiting game that’s for sure. Nothing worse than having a beautiful plane just sitting there and being grounded due to weather... and life chores... #adulting.

Maiden Complete!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting impatiently for some decent weather. I was able to sneak in a couple flights before the fog was getting a little risky with my plane. Bottom line is I am VERY pleased! Took some cat cam footage, so hopefully I can edit it in a reasonable amount of time to share.

A little nose heavy at first with some up click of elevator, but that's it. Plane is responsive, predictable, and a delight to fly. Landings were a little faster than what I was used to, but that may be a CG issue or just me getting to know the plane. I did some knife edge walls and the plane will rotate 180deg like it was nothing. SOOOO cool. I've logged about 16min of flight time in two flights. Fog was the factor there. Engine is breaking in well, and sounds very good. I need to fine tune the needles but for my first flights it's been stellar.

  8. Nick, I’ve been following this build thread since you started. I’m so happy for you first flights were good. Looking forward to seeing the video. The few video’s of yours I’ve watched are AWSOME. The Back drop of Alaska, mountains, clouds, lake and sky make them very relaxing to watch.
    Congrats.....
