91" Extra 300-EXP ARF

This plane builds out at 21 or more pounds. DA-60 with a pipe is OK power, but not outstanding. Most do DA-70 or DA-85. One guy I doing a DLE-85 over on the FG thread.

Tony at DA steered me toward the 70 and away from the 85 for this airframe. If going that big a single you may want to beef up the airframe a bit. Especially in the motor mount. Just in case! If you think you "Need" more power check out Jase's video. He's on a 70 w mufflers no can no pipe. Dunno but looks like it has plenty pull!

This is a piped DA 60-

Depending on your needs I think a piped 60/ 61 should be fine. I went with the 70 to get into a twin and have a little different throttle curve. Good luck.

Thank You, I think DA60 would be fine for me as i am new to 3D flying and i am not an expert yet. I might change my mind as i won't be ordering a 91" till July. I just ordered a 48" Extra to play around with.
