    Cyclic servos for 48in. airframes

Thanks guys. I was looking at those RJX servos, they look awesome. Think I'm gonna try those Align's first though. Apparently slop is an issues with them, but for the price, I'll see how they work.

    Cyclic servos for 48in. airframes

Hey guys, I've heard it talked about many times, but have yet to hear the results of somebody using cyclic servos for the 48in. planes. I keep killing servos(just this past week I killed my dads rudder on his 3dhs edge, and my rudder on my shp, and I think the elevator as well. Hitec 5065's)...

    3DHS 48" vyper

Well, I just managed to make a deal for a yellow(scheme I wanted) super vyper rtf, will procure it at the Knoxville FLI. Super pumped about it, can't wait to practice bringing precision low, and force myself to add more IMAC and pattern maneuvers to my bag of tricks. Should be fun!

    3D Hobby Shop 47" Extra 300shp

Just wanted to say I'm running pull/pull with the 130g motor, and there aren't any balance issues, if that's why you want to do push/pull.

Here's video of me flying the 87 Sunday, nothing special this flight(playing it safe since Knoxville is coming up). Sorry for all the background noise, maybe I should have gotten a gasser, wouldn't have that problem anymore :D...

    Twisted Hobbys 32" Crack Laser!

I was talking to Chris Jewett at Nall and he stressed that the landing gear was a must, they designed that as the main reinforcement to the nose, so I'd be careful if flying without it

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Wow, what a fun day of flying! One of my friends has a 42 slick that was crashed, repaired(a bit heavier now), and has a bigger motor, and we flew it with the intentions of making rc confetti! We flew 3s until we didn't have batteries, then messed with 4s, doing full throttle blenders pulling...

Taking out the 87 and 47 SHP's today, at a field about an hour away. Practicing as much as possible for knoxville, getting comfortable doing rifle rolls down and hesitation rolls down low. Next week will be the spiraling staircase to deathslide! Gyro, are you flying today?

    Hobbyking Donkey ST4010-820

Don't use it. 3D is tough on equipment. Back a few weeks ago I had an omega130 blow up on me in a torque roll in my 47shp, and that omega is known to be a near indestructible motor and is one of the best motors for this size airfarme. You don't want to loose a nice air frame because you decided...
