    3DHS 60" Yak-55

Thanks for the input! For me the downsides are 100% worth it for the performance, and it's good to hear that you've had good luck with them too

What is preferable about the RJX compared to the BK servos from your experience with them?

    3DHS 60" Yak-55

7954's are too big, but mks and bk servos have some servos that are absolutely killer in this size range(I'm going with bk's for my 57, they have 147 oz torque, .03s). Right now I'm still trying to work out what I want for a power set up, because it's too much power in my opinion on 6s on the...

Ah, now I got it,your version deigned for non thumb guys, but they have regular anodized ones for thumbs too, so I'm in luck :) Guess I need to buy a set(too bad they don't have green, but that blue looks great!)

Those look cool, do they not have the grooves on the upper surfaces for thumb fliers, or is that just an optical illusion from the pic?

    The Snap Turn

I say 48's, but right now its just the super vyper, and you need to slow it down a little and whip it around or else it goes about 70 degrees rather than 90, so if you're not on top of it you can snap it out on the exit. I can do upright and inverted in both directions on any other 3dhs plane...

    3D Newbies

Best way to learn is sim time, tons of sim time. And watch wamsy's tutorials on youtube, they're pretty great if your looking to see how a maneuver is done properly.

    What's Up With 3DHS??

The problem isnt from 3dhs, from what i understand they order as much as they can, its the factory that limits the quantity. With that said, the reason they cant keep up with their stock is that they do so welk selling what they have, the exact reason why they arent goinf out of business.

Unknown 35% Extra 260... Give It New Life or Put It Out To Pasture

See if somebody who wants to do imac or whatever wants it, but for 3d, probably not even worth the time to be honest. the scheme reminds me of the early slicks with the aj competition scheme though, which is kinda cool

    Deans plugs current limit

That's all? Time to buy some ec3 and ec5's and swap them all out, I thought it was a bit higher than that(just checked and your right though).

    Deans plugs current limit

We're running deans on my dad's 57, and going the same route on mine. No issues, and we've had 100's of flights(If not 1000+) on that setup on the extra and previous airframe.

    The Snap Turn

^ that is correct. A snap turn is just an exaggerated snap with a rapid 90 or 180 degree heading change, and the airplane goes from upright to inverted, or inverted to upright. Inputs upright left: simultaneous left rudder, up elevator, and left aileron. Once inverted, right rudder is kicked in...
