    Yes, I knew Greg... he got the Solars from me. ;) Hitec isn't killing anyone with their prices. You pay for the performance, reliability, and warranty service in the price of the servo. Try returning a Solar for service.... You get what you pay for in this hobby. I don't recommend building...

    I use them on ALL my planes now, even those without a removable rudder. I think it's honestly cleaner, easier, and provides a better connection.

    Ray, I've used these on about the last 10 planes I've built, once you switch, you'll never switch back :) As far as using existing cables... I don't think there is enough slack... however if you get the ones for the rudder too, you can replace all the factory hardware and upgrade your cable to...

    Once upon a time as I was learning about 3D flying and equipment, a smart and experienced person pointed out to me that sometimes you can learn a lot from looking at what other people are using.... I also researched those servos once, and word on the street was that they didn't stand up to 3D...
