    RedwingRC MXS-Bach

Guys, I really LOVE the looks of this plane. I've been talking with Tim about it for months now, and even was able to offer some design suggestions during prototyping. I won't say how many prototypes there were, but there was more than one, as Tim has been fanatically committed to this plane...

    Jersey Modeler fuel system leaking

I use a secraft fuel pump on my old jersey modeler can. I just removed the hand pump, and kept all the fittings. I got my pump from Aztech Aeromodels

    Joe Smith quits 3DHS!

well, actually, EF chooses UPS, not me. Fedex offers deep discounts to corporate customers. Maybe that's the difference....? Then again, 3DHS also uses UPS Ground. So it must be the boxing? Maybe EF needs to get more creative with their packaging inside the box so they can get the exterior...

    Joe Smith quits 3DHS!

I won't debate the performance of an EF airframe, they're among the best... But I don't think it should cost double to ship a 74" or 76" or 78" or whatever versus a 71" Slick. Sorry... that's my opinion and I'm entitled to it :)

    Joe Smith quits 3DHS!

I think the problem might be their 7x" class are not boxed in a manner in which they can ship in an appropriate weight class... i think the way the planes are packed cause them to bump up to a higher price for dimensional weight. Also, unless you print the label, you don't know anything for...

Interested how the high alpha improves with the sfg on. In my experience, they make a huge difference.

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

I'd rather have a vyper over a sebach. but that's me :) don't focus on the money part... read the reviews of both online, and pick which one will suit your flying style and appearance tastes. good luck

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

in the midst of a busy stretch, not much flying. :( had a sebart sebach... didn't keep it long. More of a sport/precision plane... there is a reason few of the big 3D vendors carry sbachs. their design is beautiful, but doesn't translate into a good 3D plane IMHO, they're just not super well...

MXS is a little more violent. Edge a little bit more high alpha stable.

Chris is a very friendly guy, and a good businessman. I was making light of recent discussion elsewhere on the site about $140 shipping for an 76" MXS to the west coast. Added with the price of the plane, that's 1/4th the cost.
