    Redwing RC 30cc (76") Extra 330sc

I could definitely tell the difference in straight line tracking after the modification. no more searching for trim with power changes. a pleasant improvement. I wouldn't say, "much" but rather "enough" to be familiar with it. It flies differently than the 50cc version, which I prefer over...

48" Extreme Flight Edge - Sweet :) I do.... But you asked the same question in a different way so I figured I'd change my answer up too :) I've got some EXTENSIVE experience with the 2820 motor.... Used every published wind from 650 through 950, and some others that were just for test. I...

The 14x7 is harder on the motor due to gyroscopic forces from the extra diameter. Like I said, the 13x6.5 is the ticket for me. I use the 870kv wind one with NO PROBLEMS: [http://shop.subsonicplanes.com/product.sc?productId=404 Yes, absolutely! I would for all the EF 48" EXP series.

The 13/6.5 on an 833kv wind is my personal favorite... And is bullet proof even in 100F outdoor temps.

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

Try working a small wooden dowel with some fine grit sand paper down the receiver tube in the wing that isn't fitting properly

Remove the weight, go fly, evaluate. It should be fine without it. I didn't need weight in mine, flew the same batts.

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

airboss is plenty fine for your application. The 5245 is one of EF's recommended servos, they've done plenty of testing on it. If you want to remove the castle bec, just cut the wires off where they're attached to the main ESC leads, and remove it (apply electrical tape where needed). Then...

Went to the field yesterday, and my buddy Jose (@UCPILOT110) was there with ANOTHER new plane (he's almost as bad as me).... and this time it was a real beauty. Check out some photos I got of his new AW Extra 260:

Yes... I have one switch trigger my low - mid - high rates like you, but each surface has a different amount of expo... rudder gets a little more than elevator, etc... :)

I agree, the rolls were crazy. Fwiw, I fly my rudders at 80% expo too, so that rules that out

I agree with the above but would say "sufficient" rather than "plenty". It took a fair amount of rudder just to hold regular KE, or at least it seemed that way to me.... But I only flew it very briefly.
