    61" Extra 330 LT

Just saw this post but I've got the 3DHS 61" Extra & here's my setup. I have a Castle ICE 100 lite ESC with a Castle 10amp BEC running a Motrofly 4315 714kv on 4S 4000/4500 lipo's . For servo's I run Savox SV-1250MG servo which are the newer HV spec servo. I've got the BEC set to 7.4 volts so...

    72" Extra 330SC

Hey guys, I need some advice on re-hinging my ailerons on my 72 Extra. This started one day when I was flying & after landing I notice my one aileron dropping down. I discovered upon closer inspection that only one of the seven hinge was still intact on that wing & the other has 3 of the 7...

Ok, then if I was going to go 6s what wattage & battery size would you want for insane power (like my MF 4315 on 4s in my 3DHS57"extra) ?

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

Hey Guys, after trying my friends EF 60" Extra & my slick premature death I in the market for a new plane. I currently have a 3DHS 57" Extra, a 72" Extra flying & a 58" Edge & 51" Slick currently under repair. I'm waiting to try a Extreme Flight plane this time around & am thinking of either the...

    57 SC Discussion

I'm running this setup with a cc ice lite 100, CC bec & Hitech HS-5245mg servos with great success. The only thing I might ever think of upgrading is to some better servo's but even that comes down to personal preference

    72" Extra 330SC

I didn't have the SFG on yet as I just got the maiden in before dark ;) I will check all my throws tonight & setup my radio a bit better now that I got the first flight under my belt. Judging by your comment I'm tail heavy then, I will adjust my pack forward for my next flight in the morning &...

    72" Extra 330SC

I'm mean push forward on the trim switch & if I remember correctly I had the battery about 1/2" away from the wing tube. The CG seem to be about 5 5/8" from the leading edge of the wing near the fuselage with the canopy off. Steven

    72" Extra 330SC

I just got back from my dusk maiden flight on my 72" & in one word WOW :grrreat: I have a couple question for my fellow flyer. My plane didn't seem to roll great but maybe it was just me needing to spend more then one minutes setting up the ailerons ;) How much control throws do you guys have...

    72" Extra 330SC

I just about to maiden my 72" extra & I now I beginning to really worry about my wings. I can see some extra blocks of ply around the wing tube inside both of my wings so I think I have the V2 fixed wings. Do I still need to add some more reinforcement to my wings & if so where & what should I...

I wish you would have post this 2 weeks ago as I just bought 4 1258TG for my new/used 72" extra :( Good luck with your sale ;) As for my 72" extra build, I finally have all the parts now so I can start building. Now just to get enough time off work to do that

    72" Extra 330SC

I've mostly use & really liked Hitec servo's plus I can get them locally to shop my LHS rather the order the Savox's online as no one locally cares them. With this being said I can't seem to find a Hitec that match's the Savox in speed. Also what voltage do you run your servo's at & are the...

    72" Extra 330SC

Looking at the choice is crazy as there are lot's of varying level's of speed & torque. If you have to choose would you rather have a slightly faster servo with less torque or a slightly slower servo with gobs of torque. I'm not likely to move on to a 50cc any year soon, unless I win the...
