But more bigger and more lighter flies even more better!!! Actually I think there is a fine line where planes get too light and you loose inertia for cool things like spins. Also the power available these days makes a huge difference.

I think it's all in finding the right ratio of weight:wing area:horsepower:way_to_go:.

Good example is @crashflow and his pilot yak. I've seen him fly that thing hundreds of times and this year he had a 120 on the nose and he is doing things with that plane that I've never seen him do!!

That's the one problem with slabs. Don't get me wrong I love a good profile but most of them are so light and have such huge amounts of wing are that when you try to do anything high energy it's gonna do the first move just fine but trying to get it to carry through to the next stunt is hard.

They are great for practice on stunts that start from a hover though. Profiles helped me really learn to control the hover as well as foamies. IMO a needed stepping stone. Helps learn the rudder and elevator.

@crashflow does things no one has ever seen all the time and he gets bolder when he has an audience.;)

Yeah the profile in my avatar the "ChubCub" as I named it after designing it really tought me to hover

I'm at a loss now, I can put my small 42 slick and my lil 72 extra into KE spin with no issue, I find it hard to get into the move on my 50cc airframes. Today I played with this and after doing the normal and it not working I let off on the rudder and dropped the throttle then slammed it to full power and my 50cc extra went into the tightest fastest KE spin I have seen sense Nall 2014. SMH I really hope to get a chance to BS at the 3D line the first few days and get some set up help from some of the better pilots out there.

I know the engine helps but I might give alittle credit to my advancing skills to the countless hours I have spent on the sim this winter! The Yak is going to be pissed at me when I put the 120 on my new viper and it gets the 111 again..... and smoke.
