If interested I can see if I can find pics and get a canopy made for you. Get hold of Rick at Fibertech n More for info on the Slick kits. Work has been killing me with long hours this past year and I haven't been building much or flying this year. I do have a design ready to go,but haven't started anything yet Chris. When I do I'll do a thread.

[SIZE= 14px]Well i'm glad to see the thread building a following:smile-new:

I'm starting the weekend by sanding and sanding and sanding ..... :dancing-chicken: as well as laying out the aileron bend in the center thingies :confused::confused:

Later I will be starting a new thread that discusses an issue with wing tubes that needs to be addressed and its not unique to this plane. Im sure it will spark a lot of discussion. The issue is only .037 of an inch what could go wrong ? :black_eyed:

Think of it this way, with more than 1/32" clearance you wont need a friend to twist the tube while you pull on the wing just to get it off.:chuncky:

[SIZE= 14px]Gut one aileron hinged :smile-new:

One of the ways to get your hinges to line up is after you lay out the spacing. Tape the aileron in place. Grab a straight edge ( in this case a business card ) and sharp pencil. Push the pencil down and twist it at the same time it marks both sides and cuz the wing and aileron are touching on the centerline that is also marked where it needs to be :tickled_pink:

As you can see in the pic I got 40.5 degrees of throw not bad :banana-dancing-with

That or you'll need help cleaning all the black dust off the plane from the tube spinning and vibrating trying to eat itself while your flying.

Looking good my friend, look ing GOOD. Loose tubes put enormous stress on fuse at LE and TE. Loose lips I mean tubes sink ships...
