The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I did a lot of on-line searching. Best price I could find was on Ebay at $.189 a tile (sq ft). No shipping and no tax! Basically the guy wants you to call him to discuss colors and amount of tiles and you buy direct from him instead of ebay. I already got my shipping tracking and they will...

I know I can do it. I should have just had electric taken off the permit. Now I have to try to do it after the fact so they will sign off on the building once its complete or work with this electrician to lower his labor costs or allow me to do most of the labor.

    IMAC at small field

You have alot of options. I don't think you can limit plane size realistically. Most IMAC guys are 100cc or larger. What you can do though is make the footprint smaller. I would talk with your Regional Contest Director to see your options. I've flown contests where the rolling circle...

    Instrument Panel

Go to Chief. Look at some full scale cockpit panels. Save it as file and put it in Powerpoint. Measure the length of your model cockpit area and try to get it the same size and print in B/W low res to save on ink. Then test fit it. Usually takes 3 tries for me to get it right. Then...
