    3D Shop Construction

I do plan to put in a tub sink that drains out but it is not a priority right now. Down the road I might put in water, but no bathroom unless I win the lottery! I have some lights now from my old shop that was my Garage in VA. I know I need a lot more! Once I see the inside of the building...

outlets will be that high. looking at spray foam but have yet to get someone to give me a quote. We do get snow here but the bldg is rated for tornado winds and heavy snow loads. I don't plan a drain on the floor. The inside shouldn't be getting wet

    PAU Owners Thread

I have no issue with DA. I'd own one if I find one that is priced good and I knew the owner so I know it wasn't abused. I can say all that with the 3W's I own. They all run good. I now have an older BME100 with NGK plugs and RCEXEL ignition because I needed the smaller footprint for a...

    3D Shop Construction

So this thread is all about the construction of my new shop for my planes and other home projects. Like many of you, I'm not made of money so I did a lot of research before picking a building. I couldn't afford the size I really wanted so I went as large as I could. -pole building. Beams...

    PAU Owners Thread

I stand corrected. I did this on my PAU Edge as well. But that isn't really anything to do with freestyle as much as our motors nowadays are strong!......especially if you fly 3W like I do (ok, had to jab everyone on that).

    PAU Owners Thread

Nope...I'd say 95% don't do anything to "strengthen" their freestyle planes. Infact, if anything they try to lighten them more. The PAU planes fly great out of the box though for both IMAC and Freestyle....especially the Extra.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

My tiles for the floor showed up and the delivery man called and said this morning my building is being dropped off. Electrician is saying he will do the initial hookup in my house to the shop next week. Things are rolling along! I'll start a thread once the rain stops :(

Fellows- Everytime I try to upload pictures I get the load bar at 0%. Then I get a message below. "The Following Error Occured" in a red border. Below that it says: "there was a problem uploading your file" It doesn't list an errors. I used to be able to upload from my computer...

    Smoke pump battery

More important than capacity is voltage. Sullivan Skywriter pumps prefer over 6vs. A LION 7.4v pack is perfect. If the voltage is too low the pump runs like crap at slower settings (when mixed to throttle at idle). The pump will handle 12v as well.
