Glad to have you here, Dan! We're a lot of folks here in your exact situation, i.e. slowly but surely acquiring our 3D skills. This site is great, because you have the perfect mix of people in the exact boat as us, together with some extremely experienced professional and semi-professional 3D-pilots who are eager to help. Again, great to have you as a part of that mix!

So you like the 71 Slick, huh? I'm debating between that and a 70 Velox for my winter project.

I"m building a 71 Slick gasser as my winter project.

I absolutely love the plane! Running a dle 30 and it starts sooo quick and runs great, the Slick is far more capable than I am but floats like a feather and locks into hovers and knife edges so much so that I look like I know what i'm doing. 3dhs planes ate by far the best 3d planes made.

Been playing with 3D a little over the last couple of years but my reaction times aren't what they need to be. Competing in gliders for a number of years in the past has taught me to make no sudden large stick movements. Just what 3D needs. I still enjoy trying and do seem to be improving some. I own/run RA Cores and we have a series of flat foamies for learning 3D and are working on more. heard about this on one of the recent podcasts and thought it would be an interesting place to come over and lurk

Welcome Coreman! Lots of aspects to this part of the hobby-- and some parts don't come easy- but boy is it a blast to try! Just keep the plane high and go nuts! :D

Welcome Coreman! Glad to have you here on this site, and welcome to the "club of 3D students" where most of us here fall! We're just lucky to have so many awesome experts contributing their time to help makes us better! :)

Your Videos rock! Welcome to the site... I've spoken with both of your boys, and I can honestly say you've raised them well :) But seriously, Moms/Wives deserve some credit once in a while for supporting and enabling us, right?
