I like 'em "BIG"!
I am presently flying a JR 12 X love the radio still works as good as the day I bought it. Just do not like there new stuffs. And the company looks like it is on its way out. Would like something new with telemetry.
Speaking of telemetry, the Graupner MZ24 telemetry has bugs too. Killed two of four cylinders on the 222.

Been Futaba all my life but have tried the "strange" and "un-usual" China radio's (ie TGY i-10) with success. But I had sold all my radios and am currently rebounding. I have given The DX-8 Gen 2 a chance. Flying a QQ300 with it and soon a RockStar Bipe and a 50cc Pilot Extra 330.

Speed control and batteries showed up today so I got busy in the "Hole in the Wall" :dancing-chicken:.

I have been flying futaba for the six years I have been in the hobby and have loved every minute of it. That being said though I recently picked up a Taranis X9D using FrSky protocol and I'm really impressed with it. I like it so much that I will be replacing all my futaba stuff with it. I was skeptical at first about using it on any of my larger planes but I have done my research and I now feel confident in it. It's not for everyone as there is a huge learning curve with the programming but once you understand it there is pretty much no limit to what you can do with it. Pretty sure frsky is what @Forgues-Research is using on his stuff as well.

Good to see you back and building again. I thought you did not electrical drive systems and you sold most of it. Anyway have a question I see you a QQ-Aurora in the plane. Would you be so kind to elaborate on how it works with a single JR satellite receiver. Thanks

Built a fuse to go with that rudder I built the other day. This one is turning out nice so far. Being built to certain specs for a buddy and keeping it as light as possible to be able to use the electric setup he wants to use on it.
Wow..those are thin vertical supports! That should be really light. I think that is why mine is heavier because those supports in mine are more to plans.

They are thin. 1/2" x 1/8" where the plans call for 1/2" x 1/4". Also the outline of the fuse sticks are only 1/4" wide where originally it was a 1/2" square stick. This is basically the version of this plane that was designed for a piped os55ax and has gone on a major diet to get it down to a 2200mah 3S electric setup. My original one is 4lbs 10oz setup for nitro. This one should have a flying weight of around 2-1/2lbs.
