Is it worth it to make the trip to Dusters for "The Powerline Duel at Dusters"? Damn straight its worth the trip! Supposed to be morning clouds which is great because they'll block the morning sun.....and low '80s the rest of the day. Could be near perfect weather for "The Duel". We've also got a few people committed who have not signed up so if you think your class is not being well represented (yes...I'm talkin to you Warren )...dont dispare...we will have lots of competition!
Unfortunately, "Stinky Pete's" BBQ is going to be a no-go due to various circumstances however we are thinking of having a pot luck dinner Saturday night. If we get enough interest, I'll go get some chickens and throw them on the grill for the pot luck....maybe I can convince "Stinky" to bring some of his awesome BBQ sauces!
Right now, we are planning the pilots meeting for 9am saturday with "feet wet" by 9:30. Depending on the number of pilots...we are planning on one flightline....however this could change if we get an influx.
