Here are a few of the planes I checked, helped program Bind and test fly (maiden) yesterday for a few new members before the gale force winds came up. IMG_3626.JPG IMG_3628.JPG IMG_3629.JPG IMG_3632.JPG IMG_3636.JPG IMG_3639.JPG

Thanks dewds! I will do my best to hook everybody up with rad customer service, that's for sure! ;)

I'll still be trolling the forums, even if this venture burns me out.

What will you be doing for them?

In all honesty, I'm not exactly sure yet, the first day was kind of just hanging out and getting acquainted with the product and coworkers  I know I will be dealing with returns and helping customers out over the phone/email/forums with their tech questions.

Got the maiden in on the Sukhoi today. This thing is going to be a beast. Love, love, LOVE it already. This is the first and only flight so far. One click left aileron and she was good to go.

Maiden day and a little playing around with my Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi SU26. I am so pleased with the GP Evo 176 twin. Coupled with the Planebender Large Smooth Pipes, this motor has the torque of a Peterbuilt and the smoothness of a Cummins. Not sure the 3W 3D 32x8-14 is enough prop though, This thing is a freaking animal. My gratitude goes out to Randy, (@Spats ) for giving me the confidence and assurance on this awesome setup. My thanks to Dave Sullivan of @Planebender products for making this happen. This thing is by far the sweetest plane and setup I have ever owned. This flying season is going to..."ROCK".

Nice flying field Rob.... That Sukohi with the GP engine looks like and sounds like a badass engine....I'm impressed. Is that an RC club you fly at or is that nice asphalt runway used by full-scale planes and you guys just share? Anyway, this time a year I would expect snow everywhere in your part of the world..LOL
Oh did you a Dime's forget it was ZooFebruary? You're gonna mess around and get Earle upset at you....

The GP has waaaay more power than I was expecting. I'm kind of used to tossing my Pilot Edge around and discovered this big Suk is as agile as the little 50cc'er. LOL.... Will take some getting used to. The field is our RC Club field. We just had the runway repaved not long ago. BLM land. No boundries, no ceiling, No noise abatement. That's what I'm talking about. ZooFebruary? Well, my planes were feeling lonely. I am surprised we don't have any snow. Shhhh......don't want no more. LOL

Rob you complain about your weather but your flying site a lot better than mine... hee hee I'm jealous..I was wondering, since you stated there is no noise abatement as your club why do you choose to run pipes or cans instead of stock mufflers? You get better performance with them over noise suppression?
