Finally finished the trailer!!!:) Now just got 2 weeks before the first fly inn I can take it to.... That is if it ever freakin stops raining in Ohio!!!! :very_angry::very_angry::gnashing::gnashing:
I know. We have had an ungodly amount of rain here in ohio. If it is a decent day the fields are flooded. Can't win this year.

I'll give the farmers in my home town some credit for keeping their humor though, one of them did this in a bean field that was flooded.

The farmers are having a very hard time this year. Many farmers had to replant their crops after the first ultra heavy rain. Now they will have to again. Not good for everyone

Since I Purchased second 40% plane and that puts me at 2 40s and a 35%. I had to make room. The only option I wanted was to go up. So that is what I did. 2 wall brackets side by side to support the main gear and 2 others down the line. Brackets to keep the plane in place and a cable to the ceiling for extra support. To make sure everything was solid I road in the back while my wife drove on bumpy roads. As I hoped e every thing was solid back there. Hardly any movement. The cable did as expected and so did the wall brackets. I also have to admit leaf spring suspension rides really well. Bumps soaked up very good and there really was no harshness to the ride. There was a pot hole that kinda hit hard but really any suspension is not going to like a pot hole. I'm really glad I didn't bother with the torsion suspension.

Yeah, I dont know why folks go with a torsion bar suspension. The torsion suspension is pretty useless for our needs, unless you are loaded pretty good.

I have had 2 trailers with torsion suspension. I hit a couple of bumps, and when the trailer come back down from the sky, i figured that I would have broken something in the airplanes.... Fortunately no. The LG flexed enough to absorb the shock of the landing. Had the airplanes been "hard" mounted, gear plates would have been ripped out.
