As has been discussed here and there, cutting the vent openings takes patience. Last time I cut them long and ironed them over. I've read about soldering irons and hot blades, but haven't seen any pictures of the results. So, I tried a different way this time. I real quickly cut the slots out with a new blade. I quickly ironed down the covering, and I quickly poured thin CA all over the thing. haha Then I used the amazing Hot Stuff Super Solvent and wiped off the covering, also real quick like. It was fast and easy to do, I don't know how it will hold up as of yet.

As with the last Pilot RC Extra 330SC... it sure would be nice to move the servos up 2" and over 2"... but I don't feel like it. But, since the only way to get three servos on the ailerons synchronized with the stock control horns would be to shim the fiberglass up different heights... I went ahead and used the Dubro control bolts again. They provide a great result, so why not? :)

Is that the 122 wing or does the 107 use 3 servos?

Special 3 servo model just for me. haha No, I'm working on another 122" at the same time I'm working on the 107". :)

One wing is programmed with the Smart Fly EQ-10 and RTF, baby! I'm really moving now. lol

I remember what I liked about the Airwild servo arms, they came off the servo output shaft lower. Then I would have better side load vs. pry load at full deflection. But I don't think Airwild is making anything longer than 1-1/2" and they're so tight when new I'd rather buy beat up used ones. But, I do like the Airwild design.

I am going totally blind and am getting forgetful, so I tried to color coat these leads where I hopefully won't mess up.

@JBenson cut out my servo openings in my stabs with my soldering iron. I guess it's a good way if you're in a bigtime hurry, but basically I'm way unimpressed with that method. Cut it long with an Xacto and iron it down! Only takes a minute!

Flew some IMAC with @JBenson 's Dalton ML with DA-200.... now that is impressive, cheating really. But, I'm not as enthusiastic about IMAC as I once was... got bored pretty quickly and can't wait to get my Pilot RC Extras done so I can get back to XA, baby! :sneaky:
