Krill Extra 330 LX building thread

Somethings I've been doing with all my Krills is to isolate the parts that are being connected with a heavy duty clear tape.
The reason is plain and simple, chafe that leaves a lot of color powder between the two parts.
The one I'm using is by 3M that I bought when I've visited the states on the NATs 2013.
Second thing it reduces the noise.

Not to mention if you fold it over the edge it saves you from feeling like the edge of the composite lip is trying to saw your arm off every time you reach inside the fuselage.

Not to mention if you have carbon reinforcement inside, those hard carbon needles can really mess up your day.

Canopy and we're ready for the test flight that will be sometime this week.
Any suggestions and ideas for an imac plane test flight will be most welcome!!

I've installed an MVVS pilot I've got as a present from Tomas, MVVS CEO and the panel I've got from Aerographix all are attached with dual look by 3M
I just love those things they do make things easy.
The pilot is attached with another DL on his helmet to prevent any movements in the canopy.

Maiden day....
It was about 43 at about 0700 but it quickly got to 84.
The entire 4 flights where for 5-12 minutes.
One thing for sure the engine doesn't have any difficulty to pull the plane on vertical.
The plane is on tracks. I added a bit down Ele and 3 clicks right.
The lateral balance is perfect and there was no need to play with the CG i.e. The spin entry was like the rule book says.

Ivo Krill really nailed it with this plane.
Dedicated for IMAC ?! it really looks like it !

Because the surfaces are smaller then the SU I'm used to every click here on the Extra is like 3 on the SU that being said it apply to the mixes and all.

Landings are a little bit fast BUT like every Krill plane I fly you just need to lower the nose a little bit add some Ele throw and play with the throttle a bit it slows down...stall...then you just add more throttle and land.

When I've set the plane the first flight the throws were very high.
I've started withe the Ele about 30 degrees ended with about half. The same with the Rudd.
The Ail are the only throw I've lowered about 5 degrees but on snaps I've got them even higher.

I'll post the throws next time.
