I did some painting on the dummy radial today. I think it turned out looking pretty good. It's just taped into the cowl right now, hopefully I'll get it final fit and glued in tomorrow.

The dummy radial looks real nice. Very authentic looking. At first glance, I wondered if the lower cylinder would restrict air flow. After looking closer, (enlarged photo) it is quite clear you have plenty of area around the sides of the cylinder. The air flow should wrap around good. I think it will be fine. And appearance/presentation of the radial is top notch. TOP SHELF PRODUCTION, if you ask me.

Looks great and as others said once you painted it you can barely tell where you have it cut open at the bottom.

I think the fuselage is pretty much finished. There are a few small things I want to do, but far the most part the fuse is done. Now I need to work on the wings.
