Done with the aileron and basically done with the flap. Just need to do some more sanding on the flap leading edges. No surprises here.

This morning:


Sand and test fit each rib the tube sleeve goes through.


Much easier to do now than later:


Saved the ugly spar for last. Picture is bad. But that this is all over the place. Tamed it with glue.


Tube sleeve in place. Time for bed.

All the hinge blocks in place, hatch supports, and made my own anti-rotation pin block that’s combined with the hinge block.
Sheeting is next!

Need to put on the Flap TE tri stock and shape it.

Busted out the hardware bags and first step is installing the blind nuts opposite of the laser etching.
30min epoxy and a little tap tap in place. Fits like a glove. Very satisfying.
Will have to trim the blind nuts near the boarder of the bulkheads in a couple spots.

It’s important to read he manual and verify each step. The online color manual was a big help with orientation and fitment.
