    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Blewis.....Welcome back to R/C flying. Like you I am not a 3D level flyer, but I do enjoy a powerful responsive plane. If this is your first EF plane you are in for a treat. The manual is detailed and will give you a very good model if you follow it to a T. Build and set yours up per the book...

Am I unlucky or to picky?

Ditto on Hanger 9 and Extreme Flight for customer service and fit and finish. My H9 60e Beast assembled well, is beautiful and fly's well. I am on my third Extreme Flight and they all were well built and fit and finish is outstanding. The real difference is that EF planes go through a long...

Wrong Way RC Fuel Tank Strap Set.

Richard........Does the Velcro work like foam to hold down fuel foaming? I am mounting My 20oz smart water tank right now. I was going to set it on a strip of foam and use two velcro straps to hold it. I have peel off and strap Velcro on hand. Should I not use foam and go with this method...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Aeroplayin.......I do not remove the covering at the crimp. I feel that it is lighter than steel cable but Have never weighed either. Originally I used Kevlar to work on a glitching problem back in the 72 MHz days. Also less worry with this product about the abrasive nature of Kevlar rubbing on...

    Eflite Beast 60e

OK.....Gyro I understand. I'm no esc settings wonk, I just want the Beast to act like my EF 64 MXS! 4325 might be the way to go. Should solve the cg issue anyway. I moved my motor forward a bit to solve that. Richard

    Eflite Beast 60e

Gyro.....it is possible that more power is available from your current motor.I don't think the Talon defaults are the way to go. Having said that I am going to take a look at the Gecko esc since I do not like the 5.8 volts that the Talon outputs on the 6.0 setting. Also the Talon default...

    Eflite Beast 60e

Gyro.........If you flew the Beast this weekend what Talon 90 settings did you use? I have the same motor and esc. Richard

    Eflite Beast 60e

gapple 12.........I sprayed a little silicone lube on the strut pins then pushed them in with needle nose pliers. Make sure everthing is lined up. I also use the lube on carbon wing tubes and the bolts used as axels. Does not collect dirt like the reccomended oil. Another prop to try is the Xoar...

E-flite Beast 60e Aerobatic RC Plane, ARF

Before any of these were flying Ken at Subsonic recommended the 4320 450 KV. Prop at that wind is 18x8. I have that motor but even though I was a early preorder no airframe yet. There is a guy flying one with a 4325 and a custom wind and I think a 19 inch prop. I think I will stick with a 4320...

    Small Gas 3D

Guys couple things about the DLE 20. The engine originally came with a RceXL ignition marked "#7". This shipped only with the 20cc engine. This was used with a higher timing ie 35-40 btdc. Resetting to the standard 28 btdc will not improve things. Newer engines come with a standard ignition and...
