Guys our club had a funfly today. I was super surprised to find darn near 100 people there. I got two flights in on my 51 slick and then two more on my 70" gasser. Then to top it all off I won the raffle for a hangar 9 BF 109 messerschmidt 60 size. It is pretty sweet for a warbird. I have...

They talked about this on the podcast. Noll said he was hoping they would get a container in just in time to bring stock to Nall, but they don't have control over whether that happens or not so they are crossing fingers. The pod cast was great btw :D

71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

Cool! Maybe sometime in the next ten years or so lol... I would love to go up and climb flat-top and visit people I know in Palmer, Wassilla, Soldotna, and Anchorage. Half a day of flying would fit in there pretty nice :D Of course it would also have to be when the reds are running :D

    10cc 3D gasser --- An exercise with a VH Sabre-X 51" and a Evolution 10GX

This only slightly undermines your point, but to be fair, I am guessing most people are using closer to 4s 3000 in that plane. I know I would.

Sounds like you are getting it dialed in bit by bit. I bet its going to love that 14x4. Less load than a 13x6 I bet.

Glad you enjoyed the plane and flying at a club. Sounds like you need a prop reamer... fits in your tool bag and does a better job than drilling. The only way to do a better job is with a drill press. Drilling a prop with a plane drill could screw it up... I wasted a 19x8 xoar once :p

I'm not going to say dsmx isn't better but there are still thousands of people that are really happy flying dsm2. I use dsm2 all the time and have never had an issue. I have heard it struggles in a noisy environment though. I have flown dsm2 ar6100s (parkflyer rx) almost out of sight on...

I leave the spring on my throttle because it puts pressure on the digital servo I have driving it. It could get a little jittery without any pressure and we don't want that :D

And everything will still be fine ;) just set your timer for two mins less than usual. That is taking it pretty easy. I am guessing you pull a lot of amps in flight. If your charger maxed out at 30 amp discharge... that would be ok.
