Not to worry! That is the most common spot to start worrying about orientation. You will get to the point where it clicks and learn to trust your inputs with more time and practice. No short cuts on that one ;)

Sorry I missed you guys... I'm pretty busy this week with school. I enjoyed spring break too much and now I'm trying to catch up on all the work I should have done then ;)

Thanks Mike, I need the encouragement... this is probably the most envolved (looking) repair I have done so far.

Well I just purchased supplies (ply, stringer stock, and covering) to fix my 70" slick. I also glued the first few pieces back together this morning. I guess that means repairs are under way :D

Gyro you can use permatex ultra copper RTV on that muffler (in place of gasket) as well as on the bolts (in place of loctite) and it will never come loose till you want it to. I put it on my DLE 35 and it is holding perfectly. Lots of guys use it on the bigger engines as well.

Funny... I see people dropping to a lower rate for rifle rollers... set aileron rates to something you can manage and like. Elevator and rudder should have 45 deg throws (minimum). Doesn't mean you have to use all the throw all the time. You just want it available.

Rollers should be done on high rates IMO. Also, every plane can be customized to your liking... just like you thought ;) expo and throws can be tweaked as well as many other things.

I am only using the interlink... EVER... and yes there is expo but it is built into the model, not the tx.

Well, I took the cowl off my slick to see what happened to the DLE 35 in last week's crash. Looks like nothing... not even any dirt on it. Looks like the prop took most of the impact and the cowl took the rest. I knew that heavy blade on the protek was good for something ;)

Yes I believe it is fixable. Ill see what I can do when I get a chance.

Here is my red bull slick on the new DLE 35ra. I need to adjust the hat cam a bit but I captured most of it... just annoying that you have to see it way off in the right hand portion of the screen... Anyway, enjoy ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vPiDkcTEDQ&list=UUVnw4SJdumljd3xQlazPyvg&index=1

Well my Lords and Ladies... ;) Here is a hat cam test I did today with a #16 keychain cam and a bit of velcro. Thought it came out pretty nice besides needing to tweak the color settings some. Enjoy :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF8R5oWp-gg&feature=youtube_gdata
