    Motor mounting question

Good luck Rich B. I think scratch building is cool although I haven't done too much of it myself. I'm glad you got your thrust angle question answered. Please do post up some pics. Build logs are a great way to share all the details of your build if you have been taking pictures along the way.

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

@dry7 it would be interesting to get data from club membership roles and see how closely the forum data represents the hobby as a whole. Im guessing the data is a little biased based on older folks being less likely to jump into a forum and younger kids not being allowed to based on age. There...

Lol Darren I must have the best club in the country! There are plenty of older guys but they are all really cool and have no problem with me hovering in the middle of the runway or harrier rolling close in and low. Great crowd and always nice :)

I had to play with that data a little :) Since you used age brackets I had to estimate the age of each member of the population. I used excel to generate a random number in each age bracket for each member of the bracket. Took a few minutes ;) My numbers should be close to the actual...

Flyin With My New Mobius Hat Cam( First Vid)

Cool vid Mike! I think that camera does a pretty decent job. How far away was the furthest out the plane was? Im wondering how it would capture a bigger gasser that burns up a lot of sky. I'll be wanting to see that camera when you come down in May. Btw... our club has a pretty big fly in...

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

Right now I am running a 20x8 xoar sword. I don't have an rpm number and the spool up is noticeably slower but I found that I actually like it how it is as my hovers and harrier look much smoother. I'll try and get an rpm number for it. Now I am wanting to try a 20x7. Sounds like I might get...

If it helps at all... I got 8k on the ground on the stock muffler and a xoar 19x8 beech wood. I am at about 2600 ASL.

    Check out the DLE-35RA

I am running something between 32:1 and 40:1. You dont need as much of the synthetic oil after break in. I would not run less oil than 40:1.

    Check out the DLE-35RA

I know this is a relatively "old" discussion but I figure I want to chime in. My DLE 35ra has been flawless from the beginning and I haven't modded a single thing. I am running everything stock including the stock muffler. I have several gallons through mine and besides the occasional minor...
