48" Edge 540 Building, Flying, and Questions

Andy I can honestly say this plane does not have any bad habits like what you described above. It inspires confidence from the first trim flight. It is the perfect learning platform! One thing about 3dhs... they do a really good job on product testing prior to production. The kinks are...

That is essentially what I did on the AB yak... I just had to make the tips flat first lol.

JoeDotCom it sounds like you are truly uninitiated :D That is awesome! Spend some time kicking around in the 3dpedia to get an idea of what maneuvers look like etc. You are kind of right about summarizing 3d flying as "involving vertical hovering type tricks" but it is so much more than that...

What do you guys think about having a 1 trick contest? Maybe take an hour or so out of free flying time.

    Idea! Homemade Side Force Generators

Ok guys I am finally getting around to working on this plane. Once we got the balance about right I wanted to start hucking it. I soon found out that while it excels at high energy flying the low and slow has a bit to be desired. The wing rock in harrier is quite scary. I asked Pete about...

I use specify stuff too... I have a modded futaba module that works with my hitec A9. It sure is funny to be flying three brands at once :).

So I ran out of work at the office today... such a bummer... packed up and went flying with Brigg from about 2:00 PM to after 5:00. We had such a blast with the aerobeez yak and Brigg's ultra-micro designs. He is just about ready to start producing his kits for sale. The designs are amazingly...

    Aerobeez 30cc 71" Extra 330SC

It looks really nice. Kudos to you Gary. I can tell you are developing a lot more 3d skills since I flew with you in Vegas. The pop tops look great and I liked seeing you getting lower on your harriers ;) Looks like the plane handles really well. Im thinking about matching one with my dle 35.
