The EXTRA 300 EXT Build Thread

My gut is to say it is normal and the battery checker is using a linear approach to the % vs what you are going to get in terms of power at 6.6v. Life packs will stay at 6.6v for almost their entire capacity and then drop off rapidly at the end. Put the batteries under a load. The voltage...

It is clear that not all droids are created equal... the samsung phones are super easy to use. I honestly wouldnt say there is that much difference in difficulty... but use what you got. They are all pretty good these days ;)

How Do You Properly Register a Brushless Motor On A Firewall

You could fill that gap with thick CA and drop some baking soda in it. Makes an excellent filler.

How Do You Properly Register a Brushless Motor On A Firewall

Ok, when I looked at it the first time I was on my phone... if I had zoomed in on the pic I would have noticed the gap ;) Ya, if you mount right there your shaft should be pretty well centered in the cowl. Does that gap look like it poses a structural threat? If not I'd leave it... it is...

How Do You Properly Register a Brushless Motor On A Firewall

Use those lines on the firewall to center your mounting pattern right where they would intersect. The horizontal line is showing you where the designer thought the thrust line should be. The fact that it is not centered on the firewall is irrelevant.

How Do You Properly Register a Brushless Motor On A Firewall

The line is offset on purpose... dont fix it! What they have done is show you where the center of the mount pattern should be in order to have the prop shaft in the middle of the cowl. Since there is right thrust built in they have taken the guesswork out of that part of the equation for you.

EG 120cc Slick By Aztech Aeromodels

My last one took a long time as well. When I talked to the lady at our greyhound stop she said they had been getting a higher than normal number of large packages so it could take a while for a box that big to find room to ride.

I am using a samsung s3 and it is the best phone I have ever had. It is faster than iphone and everything just works. If the s4 is better there is no wah I would look anywhere else.

I sort of miss my construction days for the freedom in what you wear etc. I sure dont miss the manual labor though... actually in some cases I do... but in the long run my career in Accounting should pay off... now if I can just get past that CPA exam!

    60" Laser-EXP

Hahaha! Dude that beard is legit! My wife will never let me keep mine long enough to get that much going on. I usually keep a little goat for a few months and she makes me shave it. My profession wouldn't really let me get one that big either I guess. They always want me wearing a tie when...

The EXTRA 300 EXT Build Thread

I think what you are not getting is the part where you use an external battery or the throttle lead from another esc to provide power. If the esc does not have a built in bec it will only provide power to the motor. The throttle lead will transfer signal only... no power.

The EXTRA 300 EXT Build Thread

Ah if there is no internal bec that could definitely explain it.
