FAQ Setting up and programming multiple servos per surface; programming Hitec servos

Cody this is an awesome post. I'm going to suggest to Gary that we promote this to an article. I've never done servo programming for multiple servos, but I'm sure when I get to that point I will be referring to your article to help me!

aj slick 59" (3dhs) -OR- extra mx 58" (precision aerobatics)

Yep, I was going to post and ask why this one is not on the list! I've got one and it is a 58" 3D beast!

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

The SuperVyper 48 was the first 3DHS airframe I owned, and I still love it and it is still flying! Cool thing is that the wind doesn't really bother this plane much at all. I can fly in 15-20mph winds...of course, I wouldn't do that for a maiden! ;) Gary, sorry to hear about your battery...

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

Moose, Just listened to the podcast on the way home from work last night and finished up this morning on the way to work. Let me tell you this is GOLD! I really enjoyed the podcast and certainly hope that more podcasts are produced in the future. Having Arron, Ben, and Noll on there made for...

    AeroWorks 52" Extra 260 Freestyle

Interesting - do the instructions tell you to remove the covering? I know that on 3DHS planes, the build instructions clearly indicate to refrain from removing the covering, and just CAing the horizontal stab with the covering on. And I've done that on all my builds and never had a problem...

    Dumb Thumb?

Wow Joe I didn't know that...when I saw that XFC video and was following the incident, I got the impression it was equipment failure. I completely agree that the real blessing in that was discovering a potential problem before it caused physical harm to a person! So what was the "dumb thumb"...

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

Yeah, Bivens does not have the number for sure ;) I'm in the same position as you...looking at a 50cc next spring...now the choice got even tougher with today's announcement of the 92" 50cc Edge from 3DHS! Thank you to 3DHS and the Smiths for "introducing" the new 3DHS 92" Edge on 3DRCForums...

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

That is a sweet looking and flying plane! Oh yeah, it also works very nice as a leaf blower! ;) Can't wait to track this one through the production cycle. I've been contemplating a 50cc plane next year...now the choice has been made even harder!!:lovestruck:

    In-line On/Off Switch/Y-Connector Power Cord for 12V/24V PSU

I like that inline switch that velcro's to the top of the power supply! Very nice idea, since the prototype I was using just kind of "hung there" and wasn't attached to anything. And I think the 3ft length is just right as well.

Primo .15 size 3D Profile Build Thread

James T. Graham is a founding member of the The Profile Brotherhood, which also has a web site. :) ;) Of course, we should start our own threads here since profile planes are quite often used for 3D flying. I'm going to build two profile planes this winter...one a .40 size (on which I will...

    Mounting the Castle ICE 75

Using balsa to secure an ESC to anything is a bad idea. I hope you mean light ply instead? Don't worry about the extra weight of the ESC...it will actually help you by allowing you to position your battery more in the mid-tray range instead of the "up against the firewall" range where so many...

The Hardest Thing To Figure Out

Alright Frank!!! I know you'll like that radio even if you think it is not the prettiest radio on the market ;) I love mine; I got a deal on mine last year just like you did...$350 for the radio and three rx's! The thing is rock solid; never had an issue; supports a 2S life battery; runs...
