    We modeler's are our own worst enemy when it comes to sound. Lost some of the flying privilege's at the closest field to my house last year because a loud plane and poor judgement. Put the cans in!

    That does sound a little heavy for 112" span plane, my Champ built mainly out of spruce with a 7 and half pound four stroke came in at 40 pounds. 2800 sq inches and it flies rather slowly. Better to know now than later.

    Found an old can of Kyron fluorescent yellow paint and decided to use it up. Sprays much better than the current Kyron Fusion paint that I'm using. It does dull as it dries and hoping it shine up with fine wet sanding and polishing.

    Got the right wing tip mounted on the parting board, now wax on, wax off for a while. Picked up 2 pounds of Chavant plasteline clay on Amazon, up until this point been using Playdough clay, seemed to work OK, will see if this works any better.
