Next a few light coats of 7AC orange were dusted on, finally a wet gloss coat was applied. After 3 hours hours the masking materials were removed and the areas where the...

Get the MEK out and clean it off and start over. Are you trimming the top covering with scissors? I would recommend cutting the top layer of covering further back to the center of the surface so the pinking tape covers it up.

Piper cub 1/4 scale wing washout

You want less incidence at the tips so that the stall occurs near the fuselage rather than the tip. You are correct you looking for zero at tip. Two degrees is a normal amount.

Scale Wendell Hostetler 30% Piper Cherokee Glass Fuselage Build.

Put the white paint to the fuselage plug today. The local paint supply had gallons of white PPG Delstar acrylic enamel on sale for $50per gallon. Must have been a fleet color because they transfer from 5 gallon pails into 1 gallon cans. It is discontinued now but works great, that's what we...

I cut a few pieces of bias tape for the rudder leading transition to the fuselage. It took a couple of tries before ) got a successful piece. As you have learned cutting a straight line is a PITA.

I use a roll of 3/4" per wing, might take three rolls to complete the airframe Two inch tape on the leading edge and around the bow to the aileron. I use the 1" tape on the rudder and stab leading and trailing edges.

Well after 5 hours of sanding and 3 hours spraying, the wings are 7AC yellow. Finally getting the hang of this paint. I will let the wings cure for a day or two before masking for the N numbers. Might shoot the Cherokee plug tomorrow with white acrylic enamel paint. Then more on to painting...
