    On the Champ it is inside the door. At the field I rest the plane on the spinner, open the door and toggle the switch. That is the same way I tighten the bolts for the wings, plane is on the spinner.

    Looks like both of the upper switches are on one circuit board. Radio South has switches for sale if you want to DIY? It is an easy fix with the proper equipment.

    I wouldn't spent too much time on the electronics, my last 2 builds I had to redo everything because the planes came out tail heavy and that was using a 7.6 pound engine. The Kavan is about 1 pound lighter.

    Understand, that is something we don't see in modeling, heck most of the models we fly are not even close to their bigger brother, nice work.

    It reminded me a lot like canopy glue, white and dried clear in a hour or so. The wire was held in place with tape and the glue was applied with a Monoeject between the tape, after a hour the tape was removed the those areas were glued.

    NO I would not use CA. Are you going to cover the exit with fabric? Do you need to fill the weave on the product you are using? I would use a flexible glue or canopy cement.
