3D GRAVEYARD (Post pics of the mangled old bones that used to be your Airplane!)

One from a while back: Not as impressive as the rest of those I've seen on this forum, but I await plenty of exciting crashes as I move more into the world of balsa!

Article: Member Review: Extreme Flight 48" Yak-EXP

How does the Yak compare to the MXS and the Edge in the EXP series? I've been looking to get a 48" EF plane for a while but I can't decide which would be best.

Twisted Hobbys - TELINK 48" EPP Extra 330 SC

Just flew my Extra with some custom made SFGs I put on it last night. It's a whole different airplane! It harriers effortlessly now and knife edges all day long. I can't believe I decided not to put the SFGs on at the start.

Who makes small balsa 3D planes?

Hmm, that's a nice looking plane. I was considering getting a 57-60" plane, but that would mean new batteries, which are expensive, the cost of the planes themselves are almost 2x more than a 48" and I've never heard of anyone hand launching a 60" plane, which would be a necessity because the...

Extra 330 EPP Full Fuse Coming soon to Aerobeez! Pics!

How stiff are the control surfaces on this plane? I presume they're solid EPP

    Best 3s 2200mAh?

I want to get some more 3s 2200mAh batteries, because that's what my entire fleet runs on. I've been using the HobbyKing Zippy 3s 2200mAh 20C packs because they're dirt cheap (I like cheap :p), but I haven't really been impressed with them. After a few flights, maybe 5 at most, some of them have...

Who makes small balsa 3D planes?

I fly 40-48 inch 3D planes. I'd love to get a bigger plane someday, but the 48" size works well for me, in terms of cost, practicality and comfort level. The trouble is, there isn't that many people who make balsa 3D planes in this size, especially Extras, which I love. I already have the 3DHS...

    60" Extra 330SC

Does anyone have experience with this plane? I'm in the market for a reasonably priced (for me that's <$200) ~60" 3D plane and this looks to fit the bill perfectly.

New 20cc Profile coming by the end of July--65" Extra 330

That is a nice looking plane! How hard would it be to convert it to electric?

Twisted Hobbys - TELINK 48" EPP Extra 330 SC

Well, I got another 6-7 flights on the Extra in today. It's a fantastic plane! There has never been a more appropriate time to quote the McDonald's slogan: I'm lovin' it!

    3D Hobby Shop 47" Extra 300shp

Mine is already built, but I don't have it with me so I can't check/modify my hinge gap at the moment

    3D Hobby Shop 47" Extra 300shp

I watched a video the other day of the One Trick Competition at the Knoxville FLI, and saw that a few of the competitors used this plane. It's really cool and a huge boost to my flying confidence to know that you don't have to have a high-dollar giant scale plane to take part in competitions and...
