Thank you. The experience was absolutely incredible. I had an absolute blast and learned a ton. A "smack down" flight is very similar to a freestyle. It actually went nothing like I planned. I had some electronics issues with my krill, so I had to fly a borrowed backup plane I had barely...

    Xfc 2014!

There has been a few crews hired by xfc, on site all week. There have been interviews of every pilot, and videos of every flight. It is very hard to have live coverage as the event never stops. Events like nall and seff stop at night, and are slow paced. Xfc is a high energy competition...

I would use longer standoffs and push the firewall back since it's not installed yet. I always like to avoid chopping up a motor box if I can.

I've heard of epoxying them in, but I'm not really sure how to do it. I would take it to a QUALIFIED machine or engine shop.

unnecessary. I and some guys I fly with have had great luck with pre-heating the engine before tightening the bolts.

What worked best for me was just torquing the bolts down when the engine was hot.

    Aeroplus 60cc / 92" Edge 540 V3 from Limitless Aero

What about moving in on the servo arms? With those huge elevators I think you can get by with a few degrees less deflection.

EG 100cc Slick 540 from Aztech Aeromodels

If it is your first IMAC season, I would really consider starting in sportsman. I understand that the intermediate maneuvers are very doable, but you are competing against people who have more precision experience. Remember that you can always move up in class, but never down!
