    Finished with all the rel estate courses so I am able to get back to work on the P-40 so finished laying th glass cloth on the fuselage tonight will let it set the apply two more coats then will trim sand and fill all te irregularitis

    I also got about an hour on the RCV .90 engine in it's test stand 2 tanks and it finally smoothed out and started running smooth and broke in good so it is ready to install in the plane.     Managed to finish belly pan and put on the first glass coat even though i am slam dunked this and next month compleating 90 hrs required real estate courses while keeping my bussiness going. Nothing for a stepper.

    Worked on the belly pan the afternoon and not to happy with the diargam for the sheeting in the plans. It just didnt fit well and when applied the sheeting saged in a few places so i am going to have to fill and sand to make look good. If I had to do over I would use one large sheet and cut to fit.

    Did a little more and finished the fairing more closely resembeling the real thing and then mated to the wing. The next step is to turn the plane over and construct the belly pan on the wing and mate that to the fuselage.

    Filled all the seams and sanded the rough shape now skim finished and will sand again.

    The wing glassed weighs 1020g so the glass weighs 304g so inceases the weight by 42%

    If it will make you feel better it is my first build since 1960. Your work is very clean and looks good. I centered the wheel cut out with the axle then used a 4 in whole saw to mark the wells. then cut them out.

    It is 3/4 oz with three thin coats f resin and is simular in weight to monocoat.
