    Ok thanks I thought this might be the case I was actually thinking about cutting the hinge slots then sanding the angles in the LE and covering before installing the hinges. Kind of like you get an ARF.

    Worked for a couple of hours and constructed the elevators. I will let them cure tonight and sand and contour them tomorrow and construct the rudder.

    I have a question. in Post #30 Did you install the CA hinges on the elevator and stabalizer at this point or just tape on the elevator with the blue tape?

    Using CA really simplified skinning a wing from when I was 12 in 1958 using Testors cement that took a couple of hours to dry. I'll for, the wing tips tomorrow after the CA cures that is holding them on. and then construct the elevator and start work on the vertical stabalizer and rudder.

    Actually I do. I just have to get used to it. I remember have to taping the sheeting down until the glue dried.

    I sanded the overhang off? Tapering it into the leading edge. I also sanded the trailing edge squaring it flush with the trailing edge. I was trying to get is as close as possible to the cross section in the plans. Did i mess up? It had about 1/8 inch overhang when I started.

    Thanks I have the skins made and sanded and will glue on in the morning. I got side tracked today. A friend came over and we had a few then went and looked at plane he had found in a garage sale.

    I noticed that in the instruction book. I'm going to make the templates tonight then sheet the stabalizer tomorrow. I was only able to get thin and thick CA so will use the thick CA to attach the sheeting since the chances of it running are less.
