You can program it prior to installation. But you still need to power it up with a battery. Either a 2 cell lipo or a BEC will be needed.

That FJ-09 sure is an interesting looking bike. It almost looks like it should have on road/ off road tires on it. What is its "Stated Purpose"?

I am used to E props. How is it you can fly a plan on a 12.75 with a pitch of only 3.75? Is it because the motor spins much faster than a comparable E-motor?

piece of 4x4 material screwed into the wall stud at about 5 or 6' high. Another piece of 4x4 material screwed into the next nearest wall stud at same height. I small strip of 1 x 2 material screwed into to each of the two 4x4 "anchors". Now you have a "ledge" where you can let the wheel pants...

The prop on a 12s system would be sooner small and really useless for 3D. I personally thing this plane needs 8s. The power in the Aerobees videos looks a bit anemic for my taste. I am sure 6s 5000 are completely adequate. But 8s would be AWESOME!

I hang mine by the stab. I buy these "hooks" with foam on them from Home Depot. They screw into the wall (where a joist is). They come in several sizes and shapes.

Doesn't the plug fit into the RX VERY snug? If it fit like mine do, I would think that you likely pulled it part way out prior to the flight. If it does fit tight, then I would not worry too much. But it does look like you have enough length that you could zoo tie the servo extension wire...
