It can make hovers extremely easy depending on how you set it up. When set up properly, you should not feel it fighting you on anything. If you have the gains very strong, it can tame some of the more violent maneuvers. For example, it can slow down the spin rate on a pop top so that you get...

Funny, I had had a snap roll switch on my first 2.4 gig radio from Futaba. I never understood why you would want it. For one, if I want to snap I just move the sticks. For another, while the snap roll switch is engaged, I feel kind of "out of control" of the plane.

    60" Laser-EXP

When I first got the MXS it was a bit of a handful for me. Although I could fly it well and hard, it had the ability to go haywire on me if I made a small mistake. It really kept me on my toes. After putting the Cortex in it I fell in love with the MXS. It still is as violent as ever, but...

I have the Cortex and it is awesome! Yes it ABSOLUTELY has helped my skills to advance. Although it is possible to put it into hold mode and do hands off hovering, that is not how I use it. I use the normal mode which HELPS to stabilize the plane. It still allows for extreme 3D bucking, but...

Motrofly is a great motor. If you do need to remount the cowl, just CA a tooth pick into the mounting holes on the fuse and snip them flush. Then red rill holes were needed. Chris Hinson gave me the best solution for setting the gap between the pinned and the cowl that I have ever seen...

I have been trying hard to master the rolling loop. It's just about the only 3D maneuver that still escapes me. I had a break through today and then made the mistake of switching to high rates.....

Chris has already tested some form of the DA35 last fall. I can't figure why it is not here yet. I called months ago and asked when and the guy said "Realistically? About 6 weeks." Well that was not even close.... At this point I am leaning towards the twin 40 as people say it is so smooth...

The GP Edge is not in the same category as the EXP, and I do not mean size category. The GO is really a gussied up sport flyer that can do a little 3D. If that is what you have to compare, your are gonna be AMAZED at the 60 Edge EXP! The Edge is the most stable in Post Stall flight because of...

Yes, stick with one air frame. Makes the learning curve shorter and more consistent. Meanwhile get the EDGE. It is the best one out there for learning 3D IMO.
