    i said absolutely nothing about tim or his company. i said some companies dont spend the time...i dont know what companies do and what dont, but im sure there are some that dont based on the similar airframes we see come out from 4 different companies, again not pointing out any specific companies.

    lots of mxs's out there, whether they are mxsr or not airfoil packages and control surfaces are a huge part of airframe performance, change the shape of a fuse and a few other parts just requires some development...maybe some companies are less willing to submit time to fully develop airframe...

    fwiw, i have flown the vyper with both an 18x8 and 18x10, and i really like it with both. the vyper likes the extra diameter on the prop!

    after talking with some guys in the know, it seems that motrolfly is not interested in going bigger. sounds like it is going to be purely a ken kreation, but dont take me word for it, i am often wrong

    not to push, but i think that is where the cortex excels. it never holds you back or makes the plane do anything unnatural, or at least i havnt noticed it yet

    sure. its a 3 axis gyro made by bavarian demon (formerly helicommand). the best part about it is the simple setup. Mount it straight (basically pointing a certain direction and square to the thrust line), and plug in all the servos. comes with a harness that plugs into the rx. then to program it...
