Discussion Props for Hacker A50-12L on 6s

yeah, try all three props (19x10, 20x8, 20x10) if you have weaker packs, the 19x10 or 20x8 will be great. if you are lacking power move up to the 20x10 or a 20x11

glad to help :D they came out beautiful, and the size was absolutely perfect (thanks again snowdog and gyro!) and having them tapped just made it as good as it gets. there is just something great about not having to find the right size screw for the standoff and just using whatever i have haha

i think you could balance with anything between 6s3600 and 6s5500. i think the 4400 packs will be perfect. they will sacrafice a bit on flight time, but weight wise they will be great i think i am using the savox arms, but let me check

Who would be interested in an entirely new type of competition?

like i said the performance factor is going to be different, not necessarily the judging. it would really stick for a 15-20 mph wind to be the deciding factor between a guy with a 48" plane and a 50cc plane. then you get back into the cost wars. that would get disheartening very quick and seems...

Who would be interested in an entirely new type of competition?

i think catering the different classes to different sizes would be best, say two per difficulty. smallest sizes would be for lower classes, and gradually get bigger. the only problem is that you are asking people to "buy up" into higher difficulty classes

Who would be interested in an entirely new type of competition?

be careful with that. i mean it can get very very overwhelming very quickly. how many classes do you anticipate? how do you differentiate? where do you draw the line? if you assume classes like this based on airframe: 45"-52" 53"-64" 65"-75" 75"+ If that is assuming wingspan, you really need...

Who would be interested in an entirely new type of competition?

im definitely in. and cody, id be more than willing to do what i can to help define certain maneuvers, think of scoring and how to grade each maneuver. the only problem i see is that you can still have a definite advantage with a larger airframe. how can the scoring or style of the event reduce...
