    Twisted Hobbys 32" Crack Laser!

Neither of them are windy day airplanes, but it definitely doesn't have to be dead calm to fly them. I would say they are similar in the wind.

    Twisted Hobbys 32" Crack Laser!

I like the Laser more. The Crack Yak mini does better in a slightly smaller space and responds better to aggressive flying. But the Laser is a lot more stable and precise even though it has a similar roll rate. Can't go wrong with either!

    64" mxs exp

    Nice! Love that scheme.

    Phoenix Edge 540 .90-1.20?

Not really, no. Phoenix stuff is OK for budget sport-scale aerobatics but they are generally not designed for 3D flying. A much, much better choice for a good 3D plane with the DLE 20 is the 70" Velox from 3DHS.

What do you guys want videos of?

Thanks for posting that video Matt. The 91 EXP is a lot of fun....can't wait to build my 91 Yak. Sorry for the delay everyone. Editing is taking a lot longer than I thought it would...

    Gym Star!

Thanks guys! With the Gym Star and the CTB we are really starting to break the mold for what is expected in EPP foamies even more. They are fun for advanced pilots but they also open up an awesome class of models to a whole new audience.

What do you guys want videos of?

Thank you! In that case I may overlap with what some of the other guys have covered. Editing for the first video is under way and with any luck you guys should see it tomorrow.

    78'' Extra

I was gonna say dude you are almost out of airplanes...64 is down, 78 is down, Yak is down. I think you need a 104!

A stuck ring is no big deal and can be repaired easily with no new parts. It is usually a result of running extremely rich for a long time...the ring gets gummed up by oil and crap and can't expand properly to seal to the cylinder, and then you lose all compression. However it doesn't sound...

    Gym Star!

NEW AIRPLANE ALERT!!! Hey guys, just wanted everybody to know that we have another awesome airplane available from Twisted....the Gym Star! It's a 3D high-wing plane with a lot of wing area, super low wing loading, and of course EPP durability. I tested this plane this winter and was blown...

    78'' Extra

With it suddenly losing all compression like that and with no external signs of damage I would imagine you have a stuck ring. Let us know what Hobby Services says!

Drove ~2 hours yesterday to Maine for some XFC practice. Great field and people but it was blowing a gale...and I only got two flights in before I noticed my aileron was pulling out. Practice was encouraging but that was a bummer.

    More predictable pop tops

Not at all, sorry for the confusion! I was talking about Pontus' video.

    More predictable pop tops

A few problems I see with that one: - Always enter perfectly vertically, or since you will be giving some down elevator to enter the maneuver, a hair past vertical (slightly on its canopy). Since this maneuver plays off momentum for the rotation, you need all of that momentum going straight...

Did you smear Welder glue on the hinges to reinforce them when you built it? It's easy to make them too stiff when doing that. If so, cut them free, then re-hinge with Welder glue and some Blenderm tape.

    60" Laser-EXP

There's some video of it on Flightpass from SEFF. I don't know about pre-orders yet. Supposedly it's still at least 4 weeks away. It is worth the wait though. I haven't flown anything that can compare....even in the 70" class.
