So here is the deal... SleepyC style.

Bling, bling for flying things.
SO one of the things I noticed that developed with the HF's was over the years it became the battle of the skills. And in 2015 I'd like to revert. We will organize events but I want to make sure EVERYONE is welcome. Noobs - Joe Smith. I want a Noob to be confident that if he/she shows up to a GSN chartered event they can #1 have fun #2 get help if needed. Let's make a REAL family.
This is a great angle, Sleepy. I think that there are far more people that want to teach, share and learn in the hobby than there are pure show-offs.

I assume "Huckfest' as a brand is off limits to GSN. That can work to your advantage to position these 'new-style' events against the same-ol' same-ol'. I've got me thinking' cap on. Stay tuned!

100% agree. The first year I attended I didn't even fly. 2nd year I flew when no one else was up(which was rare). 3rd year I jumped right in and loved it. The best part of the events is getting together with people who have a common interest. Just make them fun. Hopefully have locations that I can attend also.:dancing-poop::dancing-poop::dancing-poop:

One thought I had was that they might be geared toward the people in the area they are being held and make sure it is known that all skill levels are invited and encouraged to attend.

Bingo! Grassroots evangelism. State or regional coordinators to rally the troops around '3D-Schools' or 'HuckShops.'

I'm loving the latest version of GSN! We are on the right track for sure.

#1. As far as the event coverage, I'd like to see members from across the globe step up and provide some good coverage. No sense in Sleepy and Bart having to fork out thousands of dollars to travel coast to coast. We just need some locals to cover their own regions.

#2. Even on other giant scale sites I don't remember seeing much international coverage. I would love to see some coverage from events in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia etc etc. What would a huckfest look like in Japan?! I'm sure we could all learn from each other. In this Internet age there must be some way to network and make this happen.

#3. The Rolla/GSN Show Up Throw Down must become a national holiday!

I'm sure I'll think of a few more later.
