So now the part I've never done before, and trying to find info on the topic is nearly impossible.. Multi colored surfaces. It is some kind of closely guarded secret!!
So here is what I did, if the surface had a stripe I covered it white first. I then used the drawling on the plan to get the shape of the red stripe. I put the red tissue stripe on a piece of wax paper face down and completely covered the back side with glue from a Elmer's glue stick (I used the glue stick to attach the tissue on the entire model) and then placed it in position and stretched and rubbed to remove as many wrinkles as possible. Finally I re-shrunk the whole surface again using a 50-50 mix of water and isopropyl alcohol and when it was dry touched up and of the edges of the stripe that lifted with glue.
