@IMAC FANATIC, any chance you could get me a copy of the Intermediate Unknowns? I keep a copy of everything I can get my hands on and at the end of the day of practicing I will have one of my friends pull out a random unknown, take a little bit to look it over and then go fly it. This accomplishes two things in my book. One, it will keep me out of my comfort zone of just practicing the known sequence and two, it will keep my mind open to new items that may show up in the unknowns throughout the year. By practicing this way it allows the brain to rapidly acclimate to the changes in the sequence and make it less likely to make an error because part of the unknown is very similar to the known sequence with a minor twist. That is the way our first contest unknown for Intermediate was. A couple of subtle changes that were very easy to let the muscle memory take over and have you going the wrong way on the exit of a maneuver :)

I just like to stay at the bottom of the heap so I jumped :) I ended up 3rd for the year in Basic last year and flew the Sportsman sequence a few times. Then one of my friends said "Hey the only thing you haven't done in the Intermediate sequence is the roller" So I started flying the Intermediate sequence and found it to be a lot more challenging and that is where I am this year :) Now, if I can only keep a plane in the air with a reliable engine, I could get some good practice in :)
