Well I got to test fly it tonight!!!! It's on the heavy side at 35oz, however it still feels floaty. I may remove the landing gear (or just the wheel pants, they weigh about 1.5oz total) in the future to see how it flies, but for now it'll stay on. More test flying will be done...- Xpress

Need Help with Futaba 8FG Super
Antennas will be fine, I've put them right onto carbon before. Futaba systems aren't really affected by carbon components. I just fitted a cool Fromeco tx battery to my 8FGS today, stoked about that.. The 14SG adds a bit different ergonomics, telemetry, haptic feedback, SBus...- Xpress

Paint is all done! The yellow and blue striping is actually colored tape since I didn't feel like masking off the foam to paint any more, and I was running low on yellow paint anyways. Tomorrow will be the final assembly- electronics, servo mounts, control horns...- Xpress

There are plenty of DW airframes if you are looking for a specific type of flying. I would suggest a 48" Yak 54 if you are looking to fine tune your abilities since the Yak does everything from precision and pattern all the way to down and dirty, low and slow, elevator scraping, rudder dragging...- Xpress
